Sarah Hinds

Sarah's work as a counsellor is accredited by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) . After completing a degree in Fine Art at Norwich Institute of Art and Design she moved on to study person-centred counselling at the University of East Anglia and has been working as an integrative counsellor for over 25 years. She worked in Higher Education counselling staff and students for many years and has taught counselling in various settings. She currently works as a counselling skills tutor on a humanistic integrative counselling BSc.

She also has experience as a counsellor and workshop facilitator in schools, medical settings and charities and now offers private counselling, workshops and support at The Garden.

Sarah offers counselling along with other supportive approaches to personal development. She is a graduate of Red School where the menstrual cycle is used as an approach to women's leadership, creativity and spiritual life, a Sesame (drama and movement in therapy) practitioner and a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance.

The Garden brings together her love for the environment, permaculture, organic growing and listening to the land with different threads of counselling, dance, music, writing, art and spirituality.

The Garden

The Garden is in the grounds of the Meynell Langley Country Estate on the Organically Certified Lodge Farm. All the fruit, herbs and vegetables grown at the garden are organic  and developments happen slowly in the spirit of 'The Slow Movement' (see www.slowmovement.com) It also aims to be a place of peace and quiet allowing times where people can be silent and connect with nature (see www.silentspace.org.uk)

Facilities at The Garden

The Garden aims to be a low impact space. There is a compost toilet and running water. There is no access to wi-fi and no electricity.
